2010 Home & Garden ShowNew and exciting things are planned for this annual event.Habitat for Humanity 2010 FundraiserAnnual Flower and Garden Show Fundraiser Changes Direction Traverse City, MI, September 1, 2009 –Habitat for Humanity- Grand Traverse Region has hired Events North, a local event management agency, to take on the event management of their annual fundraiser. The change comes for the agency as it is looking to regain momentum on the annual fundraiser that at its peak, boasted attendance of over 15,000 during the three-day event. Over the years, attendance has decreased. The event will now become The Habitat for Humanity Home & Garden Show. The dates are scheduled for April 9-11, 2010. Events North has big plans to revitalize the event. “This year we’re going to expand the event to include more home elements. It will showcase everything you want to see and learn about for your house inside and out,” says Allison Beers, owner of Events North. “I’m excited to help a wonderful organization and shape this new event structure,” adds Beers. “Habitat-Grand Traverse Region is excited to expand the scope of our annual spring fundraiser and we are thrilled to have Events North on board to breathe new life into the event,” said Carrie Ullery-Smith, HFH-GTR Volunteer Coordinator.
